The Danish artist Polly calls “Keep Busy” a “Valentine’s card for the broken hearts.” Where is the lie? We’ve listened to this tune a few times, and it has definitely altered our mood, though we are not quite sure if it’s been for better or worse. The lyrics describe broken intimacy with enough detail to dull even the most buoyant of hearts. It’s a beautiful piece of minimal pop, emo and haunting. It should keep both the lovers and the loners company.
