Where are you from?
B11CE: The southernmost tip of Texas, bordering Mexico: the city of Brownsville.
How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it?
Acid Teja-Techno.
Tell us about your release on Nina.
Inspired by real gas leaks going on inside my house while I was making it. I had/have hardcore paranoia about this, and it permeates through several themes inside the music: ultra-consumerism, tainted oceans, and the world spiraling out of control. But ultimately, these are club rippers! Or a sort of radioactive version of that. I wanted to cover all these themes with the most blistering bass-heavy slapperz.
What kind of tools do you use to make music?
Mic, Ableton, and a meticulously curated sample library.
Who are 3-5 independent artists you think people should check out?
Collin Swayze (the most underrated TX beatmaker/songwriter). Pillowsnake (lofi grindgaze TX songwriter/shredder). Italia is Kawaii (Tejano kawaii trap popstar). Lucia Beyond (Texan producer/dj/audio engineer extraordinaire—she does everything, and everything superbly). Dime (also terribly underrated TX electronic/dance producer—extremely prolific).
